SCHOOL PROGRAM
SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM

The 15-month Training Program involves a center training on related subject, value formation and technical subjects, value formation and technical subject spread across two semesters. For the first 10 months the trainees acquire basic skills required by industry through classroom activities or theory (30%) and hands- on activities in the laboratory and shop work (70%). The trainees are required to undergo the 5-month (800 hours) on-the-job-training (OJT) in selected companies to advance their technical skill and firm up their attitude as means of preparing them for work. The orientation exposes the graduates to an industrial setting that demand hard work and quality performance.
During the OJT, the trainees are supervised, monitored and evaluated monthly on their performance and skill application of what they have learned in the center. This includes peer assessment, values formation, guidance and counseling. The completion of the program entitles the trainees to a basic course diploma in the field of their choice.
